There are several new options available to each tribe as a result of your meeting. Consider them carefully and use this post as a reference for rules questions. It is a little wordy and will require multiple read-throughs.You may disregard all of these options.
I.
Disregard all of these options and just continue the game as normal, just with the knowledge of a new tribe. You are not required to exercise any of these options.
You may combine the two tribes' maps.
II.
Merge maps with the other tribe. When two maps are merged, all squares visible on either map become visible on a joint map. All further squares are added to the joint map. You will be shown all squares that the other tribe has uncovered; they will be shown yours. You will share a map and will not be allowed to seperate unless you start a war with them.
Requirements: First, someone on both tribes must propose that they wish to trade maps by starting a new topic in the joint forum. Then all players must vote YES or NO in that topic on whether to trade maps. For maps to be traded, the proposal must pass in both tribes. To pass in a tribe, there must be YES signatures equal to or greater than half of the members in the tribe minus one (round up). [[X/2 - 1]]
For 5 people, it requires 2 yes votes. For 4 people, it requires 1 yes vote. For 3 people, it requires 1 yes vote.
You may merge the two tribes into one.
III.
Merge the two tribes into one. When two tribes merge, they effectively become one for the rest of the game. Maps become one joint map. All votes and negotations are treated by this one new tribe and a new tribe name will be selected.
Requirements: First, someone on both tribes must propose that they wish to merge the tribes into one by starting a new topic in the joint forum. Then all players must vote YES or NO in that topic on whether to merge. For a merge to take place, the proposal must pass in both tribes. To pass in a tribe, there must be YES signatures equal to or greater than half of the members in the tribe plus one (round up). [[X/2 + 1]]
For 5 people, it requires 4 yes votes. For 4 people, it requires 3 yes votes. For 3 people, it requires 3 yes votes.
You may go to war with the other tribe.
IV.
Go to war with the other tribe. When two tribes are at war, the Immunity Rules change. Instead of those two tribes fighting it out among all tribes, the two fight it out against each other for one Immunity Idol in a one versus one battle each round. Maps become seperate and may not be traded for two Years. Peace may not be declared for two Years. New options will become available upon war declaration.
Requirements: Going to war requires that only one tribe pass a War Proposal. First, someone on either tribe must propose that they wish to go to war with the other tribe by posting a topic in the joint forum. Then all players on that tribe must vote YES or NO in that topic whether to go to war. To pass in that tribe, there must be YES signatures equal to or greater than half of the members in the tribe (round down). (X/2 + 1)
For 5 people, it requires 3 yes votes. For 4 people, it requires 3 yes votes. For 3 people, it requires 2 yes votes.
What else?
Failure to vote on a proposition by a deadline (a few days) will be considered as a YES vote. However, please vote on propositions when you are ready.
Voting requirements may be slightly adjusted later for special cases of tiny tribes.
Do not modify / edit your posts in voting topics! This will only make my head asplode.
