What a long few weeks it's been. Has it been that long? You think it might be longer. The days run together without clocks everywhere around you. You remember at home that you were never more than 10 feet away from a clock somewhere - on the stove, on the microwave, an alarm clock, or on the computer. It's hard to remember exactly what it's like to live at home - it's been so long you get that feeling that you can't ever remember it being any different.
Although your wristwatch cracked in the crash, you still wear it anyway just for the comfort factor. Looking down is reassuring. You make up a time and pretend that the watch presents that time and look up, smiling, as if you had understood and digested a part of this harsh random environment.
It's when you look up that you see some sort of white cloth blowing in the wind. It's attached to a tall brown pole... which is attached to... a ship!
You run forward, against the wind, trying not to get your hopes up but also interested in your new discovery.
The ship is out in the distance. In front of you is a simple dock, maybe 50 pieces of wood nailed together, floating in the water.
The ship approaches closer. Strangely enough, you don't feel excited at the prospect of being rescued or eager to meet the first new human being you've seen in weeks. You just feel... cautious. Eerie.
The ship approaches the dock and anchors, as if it had done it a thousand times before, As if nothing special is happening. Inside the small boat you can see something that resembles a ship cabin. You can hear machinery inside it and the creak of what you imagine is the ship's steering wheel. The oddest thing about this cabin is that it has no windows and no doors. How do they get in to fix things?
You look back to land and in the direction of your tribe members and decide to hop on the ship and see where it takes you.
On the ship you see a crude map. It's difficult to figure out where you are on it. You see two directions on the map.
Which way do you want to go?
1 - northeast
2 - southeast
As soon as you trace the direction you want to go with your finger, the ship pulls up it's anchor and begins in that direction.
I wonder where it's taking you.
After you have chosen a direction, skip this day and the next day of exploring (as you will be sailing Post your direction as a response to this thread or in the map exploration thread. After that, you will be updated with your new map position. This does not move you to another tribe or switch tribes, it just moves you to a brand new map position to explore a new area.
