1) What does it mean to be an all-star for you? What makes an all-star?
A All-Star is somebody who Sam enjoyed hosting in his previous game and felt that he could run a succesful game with. To be a All-Star, I feel that you must have a strategy and be decent at challenges.
For me it means I am one of the best of the best in this game. When I think All Stars I think of the best all around player. An All Star could be someone who was entertaining. Maybe the best all around strategist in the game. Or a challenge threat. You could be an All Star for a number of reasons.
Being an All-Star means I played a good enough game to deserve the opportunity again! An All-Star in my eyes in someone who stood out as a player (whether it was after merge or pre-merge) and had an impact on the game.
It feels great to be an all-star. In my eyes, an all-star is simply someone who showed dedication and committment in their original game. I have participated in too many games where people were inactive and I just couldn't understand that. Sam's game was BY FAR the best game I ever played in, so I'm so excited about the opportunity to play in another one of his games.
It means a lot for me to be an all-star! It's a honor to be chosen as one, and I am very happy to be a part of this game! An all-star is someone who played a great game in as non-violent a way as possible.
Being an All-Star means that I'm one of 20-40 people who actually put a little thought into writing their confessional and playing the game. It means that I value competition and that winning this game is more important to me than most. Or at least as important as it is to 20-40 other people. That desire to win is what makes an All-Star.
An All-star for a survivor game is somebody who can do whatever it takes to win, and has the heart to keep friendships alive even after the game.
2) How does the word 'all-star' fit for this tribe? Is it truly an all-star tribe?
Yus! Everyone is great! We've got some top notch players on this tribe!
Lisu is an All-Star tribe! We've got strong competitors and players who almost bagged the top prize. I think we have the "star quality" to make it past the other players.
I definitely feel we have an All-Star tribe. We are all jurors/final two members, so I think we are fitting for the term All-Star. We are also all very, very active and care a lot about this game, so yesh, true all-stars!
no. nope. no. it doesnt.
this tribe is a bunch of snoozers and losers! wake up lisu!
I think it applies for some of the tribe members but that doesn't mean all of them are All Stars at least not in my opinion. I think game play majority of this cast got would be considered All Star material, but very few fall under the entertaining category of this game.
Oh yeah, I definitely feel it's an all star tribe for all the resons I expressed above. There was no obvious weak link and that made going to the first TC difficult. It's surprising to me how well we've gotten along so far. Maybe that's because we're not just all-star players, but also all-star people.
Look at the placings. Everyone here at least made the jury.
3) Have you heard the word alliance at all yet?
I don't kiss and tell.
No alliance-speak yet. We had a pretty clear boot, so I don't think anybody felt the pressure to ally quite yet. And apparently grudges exist among people who were in the same seasons. Chuck booted Minor fast.
Yep.
Of course! Because it came from MY mouth.
Yes
Surprisingly, I haven't heard the word alliance yet. I think everyone is being extra cautious because this is the all-star game. I think we all realize that things can change so quickly, and I believe we're all happy to just make it to the next vote.
Indeed
