I understand not expelling Lynne from the game, but letting her go unpunished would be wrong. She openly admitted to cheating in a challenge, and should face some sort of punishment, regardless of her tribe losing. We all have Internet troubles, and we all get booted. It's not my tribe's fault or her own that she posted a false score. I can name three games where my posted score was not my highest because of similar issues. It was our responsibility to copy our high scores and keep they from being deleted. Ovambo lost a few Immunity Challenges because people got booted off the computer, yet no one cheated. The rules plainly state we cannot cheat, and will be punished, maybe even removed, if we do so. She may have admitted to it, but ONLY after being caught red handed. I agree with not booting her, because she didn't mess up the results or change the course of the game, but I do feel she should receive a punishment for the next challenge, and either have her next score reduced, or not be allowed to compete in the next IC at all.
It would be unfair to Xavante if she received no penalty at all. Everyone on my tribe worked their asses off to win, and if Lynne walks for cheating it's like saying it's fine OK to cheat. You made us all agree to the rules, which said not to cheat, and letting one walk for cheating in a challenge would be hypocrisy.
One more thing I noticed while playing that game. I was pretty bad at it, so I never took a screen shot and closed the window a few times while playing it, but each time I loaded the game up again, my personal high score was always shown, even if I hadn't played it yet. If she really did have a personal high score of that it would be posted under her new score. One way to fix this whole thing would be to have her load the game up, let the game run through to get a score of zero, and have her send you a shot of the whole game. If 3584 shows up under her score then she was really telling the truth. If not, then she was really lieing about it. (I'll post an example after this post)
This is the only thing I will say to you about this. I will respect your ruling and will not talk to you more about it, even if I don't agree to it. I would really appreciate it if you could respond to this post and tell me what you plan to do. Thanks for your time.
