I've allready said my thankyous on AIM for allowing me to be a part of this game, Sam. BUT THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! So, this is a yes obviously saying I wish to play. also, Rebnik, I don't think I've ever met you so feel free to message me on AIM if you want. "wazzle19" is mine.
Last time I played the game I really played to win and didn't really care so much about making friends, but I surprisingly got a couple out of it, which was very unexpected but also very wonderful.
This time around, I'm just here to have fun and see how far I can make it playing against the supposed "best of the best". The chances of me bettering myself than 3rd is slim to none, so I'm just going to see how long I can last and have fun while doing it. My game plan for right now, which may change when I start playing, is basically the same as last time. Allign myself with people who I like to talk to, and get rid of the people who I find boring or irritating. There is A LOT of people from the alumni who I have found annoying just from reading the boards so that might be harder than I thought LOL.
There is one thing that I wish to accomplish while being the game though. But this is assuming that this person was accepted into Allstars, which I think is a very good chance. He was an allstar in my book when we last played. Since CBC wrapped a long time ago, I had always thought to myself that if given the chance to be a part of Allstars I would propose an alliance with Ross. My reason for this is because in our game we were kind of rivals, and I think a lot of people (especially from CBC) think that we hate eachother. This is why I think it would be a perfect alliance to have. Now, hopefully he would want to do this, but there's a very good chance that he won't want to. He might want to get revenge on me instead. I guess I'll just have to see how that works out.
Other than that, I really have no idea how I will play. I think especially for this game where everything is so unknown it will be important to have an adaptive strategy. I think a lot of people's success will be based on luck, and the kind of connections they've made outside of the game. This doesn't bode too well for me cause I don't talk to any of the alumni on a regular basis. I'm interested to get to meet some of them though and see if they're really as annoying as my first impression of some of them are. I hope they prove me wrong.
