Heya!
This is just a little thing where I write something individually before the game starts. Because when that happens, I can not even mention like your past activities or how you did in other games or mention basically anything at all about you or your gameplay. Maybe I'll give some advice on what to do or just reminisce about the game you played in. Now remember I haven't like deeply studied the game and all the confessionals you wrote before typing this, so I'm just going off a general perspective of the really big things from my point of view. Some of the little details might be wrong but I'll try my best. So now the form letter part of this ends and the personalized part starts after this sentence. =)
Jake! Can't wait to watch you play again. You did pretty well in Machu Picchu - from surviving in the ridiculously lame Desana to riding it high in Aycha to the merge. Even if you didn't get on Aycha I think you would have made it fine. Then I think you crossed Ben or something and apparently that means an instant loss. =)
One thing I remember from how you played the game is that everybody really loved you. You were seen as the quintessential "good" player in the game - never lying, friends with everybody, and just someone who is a good person. I'm not exactly sure how that will work out in this All-Stars game, but toning the goodness down a bit sometimes might not be a bad idea. =) I think it was a combination of being seen as unbeatable because you were too nice, Ben's aggressiveness and insanity, and just a fearfulness of going against the flow right after the merge started that got you voted out. That sucks cause you were doing really well. I was unusually sad when you got voted out. ><
So as for other advice... keeping in the loop of things and gathering information is always a good idea. There's a certain artform to obtaining information from people without them knowing. It's important not to push too hard though or people will get uncomfortable. Giving up unimportant information for relevant information is the hallmark of an excellent Survivor player. Try it out and see what you can gather up.
Good Luck! =)
