Hitting the Ground Running
I cannot believe this tribe. *laughs* This is like the biggest group of egos ever. I would have never imagined this combination, but somehow I think it is going to work. It is so weird that there is a husband/wife duo on this team. (Lew/Jenn) That puts them out there as a threat, because more than likely they will not vote for one another.
I am stoked to see Hockey, and maybe Jake. There is some mini-drama with Jake regarding his boyfriend Anthony (who Jake things I am apparently trying to steal away from him.) But hopefuly we can get past that, and have a strong alliance. I have always liked Jake up until the Anthony thing, and I just hope we can both get past it.
Valerie and Hector are two big question marks in my mind. I have been warned by *several* players about Hector. Apparently he brings playing dirty to a new level. As a former winner, I did my share of dirtyyy things in Wonderland, but apparently he makes me look like Tom Westman.
I have talked with Valerie several times on conference call, and it just seems to me like she is not very well liked. I personally do not have a bad opinion of her, and hopefully we can come to some sort of agreement regarding the vote. I have also talked with Jenn on conference call, and we immediately had the YMCA bond. I foresee her being my Angela of Allstars. She seems very trustworthy, and I don't foresee her being a very strong physical competitor in the challenges.
My status as a winner is going to be a huge disadvantage in this game, because my neck is always going to be partially on the chopping block. Going from Wonderland not recieving a single vote (except for the winning votes) I have a pretty good confidence built up, and hopefully I can do it again. This game is always about beating the odds, and doing the impossible, and I intend on doing both. I will win Survivor: AllStars.
I can't think of a better way to close my first confessional than with the last snippet of a conversation I had with Patrick regarding the game:
"My luck, I will end up on a tribe with Val and Hector!"
