Asteria is a lot different than what I expected. I thought I would be bombarded with ghosts of my past and people who hated me for how I played in Paradise, but those people are nowhere to be found. Atleast three people in my tribe didn't play in a game before and all of the others were not in my season. Big bonus!
Although it is refreshing to see new people, I don't see them that often. I have yet to talk to Lexie or Mike, hardly Laurel, and Matt isn't all that interesting either. Tilghman seems like a cool guy but my favorites are definitely Lynne and Will. They actually kept a conversation going and I feel like I can trust them already.
We'll see what happens at the first immunity challenge, but I definitely wouldn't mind getting rid of some people on our tribe. I plan on talking to Will and Lynne some more to see if we can get some sort of alliance going. In my book, Lexie, Laurel, Mike, and Matt are all fair game at this point.

Things are heating up around camp! I am starting to talk to everyone and I'm really happy about the way things are turning out so far. I really like Will and Lynne a whole lot, I can definitely see myself sticking with them for a long time. I talked to Matt more today, along with Laurel...both of them are great too.
Will was the first one to ask me for an alliance, and of course I accepted and then later in the day Lynne asked me for one too- which I also accepted. Then, at the challenge tonight (which I don't mind if we lose) those two alliances turned into Kevin, Lynne, and Will. We are a threesome now!
Our plan is to get Matt and Laurel with us throughout the next few days, using (as Lynne calls it) the networking strategy. We can't let Matt and Laurel know the three of us are together, but rather make seperate alliances with them so they don't get worried.
Whew! This game is going to be a wild one, of that I'm sure. I found myself saying this alot in Paradise, and I will say it again: We'll see what happens.

We won the immunity challenge! Things are off to a good start, atleast I won't be the first one voted out of the game. Last night was very interesting. Will, Lynne, and I were planning to start our little networking strategy by making an alliance with Laurel, but when we invited her into the room...she started to get suspicious and when we were clearly headed towards asking her, she asked why Tilghman wasn't there. Busted.
So, we needed a change of plans. Now it seems that Tilghman, Laurel, and Mike might be alligned...fat chance in my opinion but you never know, maybe they even have Lexie with them. That's Will's conspiracy theory. In my mind, we need to secure Matt's vote to be safe and then if all else fails at the first vote, go for Lexie and then we'll have a four to three majority anyway.
So, I have a few more days to make sure that even if I end up in the minority, I won't be the one targetted. Off to explore Asteria, wish me luck!
