In Wonderland, there was a hidden secret....In Wonderland: for 11 days the clues were there - waiting to be decoded by anyone who knew how to approach it. It was simple - all they had to do was log onto the Masquerade name and there it was. The reward - a glimpse at the mystical word of Through the Looking Glass - was an incredible revelation. But, because it failed, it didn't affect the game any.
So what the hell is Sam getting at?
If you have to ask by now, perhaps you need to read into things a little better.
In Asteria: for 20 days the clues were there - waiting to be decoded by anyone who knew how to approach it.
This time, it affects the game plenty.

Well, we haven't seen the last few people show up - but Sam said there wasn't going to be a outcast twist again. I'm going to guess that there is another game with twelve people that is already down to its F2 and maybe the people who aren't here are voting for one person from that game to enter after this TC?
