Welcome to Tribal Council!
Sam stands, arms clasped behind his back. The castaways cross the bridge into Tribal Council as they hold their torches alit above their heads.
Each tribe member hits the cymbal one by one as they walk into Tribal Council, the loud booming sound reverberating into the jungle.
They set their torches behind them, and take a seat, prepared for Tribal Council.
Sam: Hey y'all. Re-reading your tribal council questions in light of these votes is pretty entertaining. Some of you thought the vote would be routine, others were always ready for surprises. Most people weren't expecting a revolution anytime soon. And let's be honest - with a merge with 7 Xavante and 6 Bajau.... now 4 Bajau... it didn't seem very likely either.
Matt D. has suddenly disappeared and Katie and Tyler have Immunity. Maybe the last two felt drunk with power their first time being individually Immune, because both (for the first time) screwed up when voting and forced me to make difficult decisions regarding their vote. I'll quote the rules: "ONLY VOTE WHEN YOU ARE READY TO VOTE." In Survivor, people don't get to run up to the voting bucket and rip out their own vote to scratch it out and change it right before votes are being read, and that shouldn't happen here either. Once you vote, you've voted. That's it. It is strongly recommended not to change your vote, ever. If you have to, you MUST provide a reason for your vote and give me a reason why I should let you change it. From now on these are mandatory. You get to do this once, a second vote change will never be accepted. ONLY VOTE WHEN YOU ARE READY TO VOTE.
This game is enough of a headache without additional stuff.
*Sam solemnly walks over to the voting booth and grabs the bucket filled with votes*
*He sets it on the pedestal in front of him*
*He sets it on the pedestal in front of him*
The person with the most votes will bring their torch to me and may be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately.
It's time to tally the votes.
First vote:
Lexie.
Second vote?
Matt O.
1 Lexie, 1 Matt O.
Third and fourth votes:
Lynne. Lynne.
2 Lynne, 1 Matt O., 1 Lexie
Fifth vote?
Tori. Tori.
2 Tori and Lynne. 1 Matt O. and Lexie.
Seventh vote of ten, coming up.
Lynne.
Tori.
3 Tori
3 Lynne
1 Matt O.
1 Lexie
It takes five votes to evict.
The ninth vote goes to...
Tori.
The final vote...
the third person voted out of the Samtao Tribe...
and 11th place is...
or maybe not; because the last vote is for:

Sam: Interesting. We have a tie between Lynne and Tori at 4-4-1-1. I'm just a little curious what is with you people and stray votes. :-) I've been seeing them left and right at these merge Tribal Councils and they just make no sense! Each one of those people could have personally made the decision in their favor if they wanted to. I just don't get it; making a stray vote just makes that person hate you as much as if you would vote against them if you did it knowing they were going to be voted out. It is like you are giving away the little power you have in making decisions in your favor. This Tribal Council has been a comedy of blunders.
It's now time for the tiebreaker. What will it be? Well, seeing as we have 3 out of 11 people currently on vacation, we can't do anything until they come back. Unfortunately, we must start the break with this issue unresolved. I wish it weren't so, but what can you do? Once two people come back the tiebreaker will be revealed and the results announced soon after. Have fun on Spring Break. :-)
*no gong is heard as no Survivors exit Tribal Council*
