(Day 41 Thoughts)
Zaza has merged with Ovambo. Originally, I thought it was just going to be us 6 Zaza's merging with 4 Ovambo's, so we'd have a majority whether we kept Jamie or voted her out. Well... now we're in a bit of a tricky situation. Stacy's back in this game... and was placed on Ovambo. We merged with Ovambo immediately after their Tribal Council, so I have no idea which side Stacy is going to be on. I believe the current plan is to vote Jamie out... but it is now incredibly riskier with the fact that Zaza would not have any majority after her departure.
I have no idea how Ovambo is going to play. They're all nice, friendly people, but anyone can be friendly if they wanted to be. They have attended many Tribal Councils, leaving me to believe that the 4 original Ovambos left must have a tight bond with each other. Stacy was added in two days ago and probably has no loyalties anywhere, so perhaps we can be able to include her with the Zaza alliance, but according to the Masquerade Ball, Zaza is a tribe full of obvious alliances. She might want to break up the pairs before she floats to any alliance. And then there's still the issues of Lisu and Yupik to contend with. If we ever do finally merge, will Ovambo stick with us as a majority alliance, or will they bond with Yupik to vote us out one by one? Gah, too many variables... no solution.
Right now, I think my best option is to do what I'm told and not to offer any argument as to what I think. I have no idea how things are going to play out, and I don't know what is better, keeping Jamie or voting her out. So I'm leaving the options up to the Zaza Four: Annette, Katie, Patrick, and Tori. Although Patrick is the only one that didn't want a merge, it's really up to those people on what we should do. I'm just a mere Zazan.
Since there's so many people in the Zaza/Ovambo tribe, I'm gonna discuss about each person individually, and hopefully tackle them all.
Annette: My famous Wonderland partner is still alive and kicking, and our friendship is better than ever. However, she's as obvious of an alliance as there is, especially since Wonderland is fresh in everyone's minds. I don't want to have to vote her out... and I probably won't be able to, because I'm too emotional of a player. I'm just gonna be hopeful that Zaza can make it all the way to the end, and we'll see how things will work from there.
Jamie: Every Zazan seems to be growing tired of her, but I'm still trying to figure out if it's advantageous to take her out. Zaza would be down to 5, guaranteeing at least a tie at the next vote. But that's assuming that the Ovambos will vote for Jamie anyway... if we use Jamie as a vote, and she doesn't lie to us about her loyalty, we have majority. But it's incredibly risky to think Jamie will stick with us after all we've gone through. Can that possibility exist?
Jen: She's a nice person. But that's not a unique term, because everyone in my tribe is a nice person >_< I've talked with her a bit more than any other Ovambo besides Matt, but I don't know if that can count for anything.
Katie: OMG! Katie is like my best friend in this game, no offense to anyone who is reading this right now. We spend so much time talking to each other, and each conversation is as unique as the next. We are just so compatible with each other, and it's hard to believe that we only met in this game last month, let alone start talking about two weeks before the game started. Katie is the person on the top of my list for the Final 2 in the event that I lose, only because she's such a great person and I would love to see someone I like win. Of course, it's a completely emotional mindset that's not cut out for Survivor... but I think that I'm way too involved to turn back now
Lew: This is an interesting Ovambo. I've never really talked to anyone with a personality quite like he has. Our conversations are a bit weird, mostly because I let him lead and we talk about whatever he wants to talk about. My best guess is that he's gonna be the most loyal Ovambo, so I don't think he's one that we can talk onto the Zaza side.
Matt: He's the Ovambo that I talk to the most. It started with very exciting conversations, but now it sorta seems like I'm forcing the conversations along a bit. Perhaps he's tired of talking to me, or he thinks of me along the same lines as I think of Patrick... I have no clue how Ovambo is going to play, but perhaps Matt is a key player...?
Patrick: We haven't really been talking all that much lately... but I don't see any reason why he would turn on our stable alliance. Zaza is the love tribe (with the exception of Jamie) and he seems to be content with just sticking together. Of course, he started a "fight" with Jamie that resembles his "fight" with Ethan a lot, which makes me believe that he's such a radical to the Zaza alliance. Unless he starts doing this kind of stuff to Katie... Tori... me...
Stacy: She's the outcast placed back in this game, so at this point, she's a total wild card. Unless it's just her manner of speaking, some things she says sound forcefully nice and not really genuine. "Tee hee!" "w00tage!" Those are either her manner of speaking, or it's her trying to be nice and being obvious about it. Of course, no one can blame her for trying to be nice because she would need to form an alliance quickly to avoid being voted out (after this Tribal Council, where she's immune). I'm just hopeful that she's gonna stick with the Zaza alliance, or else we're doomed.
Tori: We've gotten to enjoy each other a lot through Asteria. Moreso than Wonderland, but that's to be expected. She talks about enjoying being in an alliance with Katie/Patrick/Annette/me, but she sorta makes it sound like she expects herself to be the fifth wheel. Is she going to do anything about it? I hope not. We need her vote... hopefully, if she's planning anything, it will be at something like Final 9 and not right now.
Tyler: Still a very friendly person, although I'm still getting vibes that it's only for this game. He spent so much time on Ovambo, and his tribe did hear rumors about our tribe. I do wonder what he told people about me... certainly, if tribes were being announced, people would ask about what they're like and how to talk to them and whatnot. I just wonder if he gave me a good image or a bad image... although, if I know Tyler, it's probably a bad image >_<
