Well, the first boot has come and gone and, thankfully, it wasn't me. Poor Scott, I barely knew ye. I think if he had been around more and active, he could have been a force to be reckoned with. He seemed to be an energetic and smart guy, but his real life issues were just too much to deal with.
I was so paranoid it was going to be me, even tho people had told they weren't voting for me. It was that whole "I don't know who I'm voting for and I don''t feel like talking about it" vibe that people kept putting out - it makes it feel like your head is on the chopping block but people are feeling "kind" enough to not crush your heart to your face. Oh well, I'm glad that it was just paranoia and nothing more.
I'm hoping that we can put this behind us and go on to win the next challenge, I really REALLY don't want to have to deal with another boot anytime soon. But, for shits & grins, let's say that we do go back - my gut would want to vote for Josh. Why? Because I just don't talk to him as much as Katie and Tori. Our conversations seem like teeth-pulling at times, altho I keep trying to keep them going.

You can not believe how amazingly happy and relieved I was to win the second immunity challenge. Even though I have an alliance with Katie - and trust her - I still feel very vulnerable. I was worried that, had we had to go to tribal council, it would have been me & Katie voting for Tori or Josh (probably the latter) and one of them voting for me (as I can see them voting for me before Katie). I got so depressed thinking that I would be gone so early in the game - before meeting other tribes, before merging with them, before making the jury... I was getting all worked up and we hadn't even did the challenge yet! Then we did it and kicked some ass. I seen it and started to panic... then remembered one of the words was filled in and started working from there. Filling in the chart came pretty easy, it was putting the letters on the picture that took forever. I really f'ed that one up, it looked horrible - lol - but, hey, at least everything was spelled right. All in all, things are going well and we have discovered not only an abandoned camp but a road as well. Could it be that another tribe is right about the corner?
