Survivor: Andes was the first EZboard game I hosted in the Summer of 2002. It had sixteen players, a mixture of new people and players from this one website I started at.

The main feature of this game was that it was done in 39 days in real time. Day one was an off day, day two was a non-live Immunity Challenge posted in the morning with results posted at night, and day three was collecting votes and anouncing the result at Tribal Council. This made it very intense and extremely fast-paced, as well as a lot of non-stop work for everybody. Seeing as nowadays the games take about 2.5 months that's the same amount of work in almost half the time.

The game didn't have a logo or any fancy artwork at all, it was pretty basic. The board was deleted a long time ago. The only records I have of it are the first 6 episodes that I created and printed out. The game was designed to have full episode summaries after the game completed, but each episode summary took me like 10 hours over 5 days to complete and with only 20-30 readers MAX it wasn't really worth it. The game also had reward challenges sometimes on off days. After 39-40 days, we had a Final Two, votes were saved until about 2-3 months later however when the Summary Episode aired.

Most players played under aliases. It was a no-twist Survivor of Aymara (inexperienced new people) VS. Jivaro (experienced players)

The tribes were:

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Bob, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, John, Alexia, Lenora, Corey, Dean, April

Summaries - what follows is a summary from the episode. Many people wrote confessionals roleplaying their time in the game. All quotations are real confessionals. All comments were actually posted and made. Immunity Challenges are presented as actual challenges story-wise.

Episode One: The Aymara were a proud, reclusive people who fought many wars in the Andes mountains. They have a unique language that still survives today.

The Jivaro were a barbaric people known for an ancient practice of shrinking human heads. They lived deep in the Peruvian Amazon and are one of the most primitive and fierce societies because of their unusual customs and unmerciful attacks on surrounding settlements.

On Jivaro ~ John and Quentina meet and work around camp. Sam joins them; but Sam and John exchange harsh words. Lenora shows up and she makes fun of Sam along with John and Quentina. Sam walks out and meets Dean who is found "resting for the Immunity challenge."

On Aymara ~ Matthew takes charge and sets up camp, Lance joins him. Amy and Giovanni head to get water. Giovanni criticizes Matthew's shelter, but the two form a friendship. Lance feels he isn't being listened to.

Lexie joins her tribemates and begins making light converstaion. Samantha meets Lance; they go to get tree-mail:

Aymara and Jivaro went up a hill,
To fetch a few great boulders,
The tribe that brings the most of em down,
Will all live to be three days older.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE ONE
~Cascading Down the Mountainside~

In this IC, tribemates had to work together to guide boulders down a mountain by posting in unison. The tribe with the most would win. Even though a few Jivaro were trying their best, Aymara takes an early lead and wins in a landslide.

Jivaro heads back to camp to find Alexia sitting under a tree, sharpening a knife obsessively. Alexia apologizes and tries to make friends with everybody quickly. Lenora, Sam, John, and Dean, who all participated in the challenge, decide to choose between April and Alexia, and end up on Alexia because April had participated at the end of the challenge. April is confident she is fine and looks forward to playing the game.

Alexia and Lenora have a great conversation; causing Lenora to try and switch the votes. They made an alliance, calling themselves the “5 by 5 twin bitches.” April targets Alexia, calling her lazy. Tribal Council begins.

Lenora says she isn’t a leader but not a follower, and that everyone has a potential to be leader. John agrees, saying a few people aren’t pulling their wait. Dean isn’t disappointed about losing, he’s excited about his tribe.

Sam goes up to vote, saying Alexia is begging and plotting for votes, changing the whole original alliance. He says he wants to vote Alexia, but for now he will vote April.

Alexia votes April, April returns the favor saying it’s for the good of the Jivaro tribe. Dean agrees. The vote is 2-2 April/Alexia.

Corey votes for himself. Before the final vote, it’s 3-3-1 April-Alexia-Corey.

The final vote: April. Pissed, she leaves the game and wishes her tribe doom. It was too little too late for April with Alexia’s plotting.

John, Alexia, Quentina, Lenora -> April
Dean, April, Sam -> Alexia
Corey -> Corey

Episode 2:

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Bob, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, John, Alexia, Lenora, Corey, Dean

Dean of Jivaro is surprised with the vote, but is positive. Lenora hates TC, is happy with the result, but is bothered by the three votes for Alexia. She thinks she should relax instead of continuously plotting.

Alexia sharpens her knife and stabs at the tree with it, angry at almost being voted out, scaring her tribemates.

At a reward challenge, Aymara constructs a large statue first to win reward.

Matthew constructs a fishing pole and slices a thin piece of skin off his finger to use as bait. Lance, disgusted, uses grub instead.

Amy: “I think that Lance and Matthew are sorta competing with each other as to who the, well, so called “leader” of the tribe is.”

Lexie, bursting with energy, creates a swing near the lake. Aymara bonds over the swing and gets to know each other well.

At Jivaro- Sam to Alexia: “Where is everyone? You didn’t kill them did you?” Alexia is depressed about losing the RC, and vows never to lose again.

Sam: “I missed the challenge today… so now miss prissy Alexia wants to vote me out? She’s already taken the alliance that John created and made it an all female alliance. Me and John have been getting along lately; if I can get him not to follow that witch we can send her packing. I know Dean and Corey voted her already. If they vote one more time it will be 4-3. It’s not over yet Alexia, and when it is I’ll be waving my middle finger at you leaving.”

Hope you feel comfortable in H two O,
Paddle the boat and go with the flow,
Be sure to grab the immunity first,
Unless you want to be second worst.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE TWO
~Rock Collection Agency~

Survivors must remove rocks from the ocean floor to bring a boat to surface and paddle it ashore. First there wins Immunity.

Aymara is off to a strong start, but has trouble removing rocks. Sam and Alexia of Jivaro work hard and get their boat afloat. Quentina and Lenora jump in the boat and begin to paddle it to shore.

Matthew tries to board the boat when it still has rocks in it. Snowball tries to get them out so they can start; Matthew yells at her to hurry.

Matthew: “We lost… I can’t believe it. This will never, EVER happen again.”

Sam of Jivaro: “Yes it will. Don’t kid yourself, we’re just waking up.”

Amy of Aymara refuses to give up, and gets the boat afloat. Her, Matthew, and Snowball begin paddling…

But it is too late, Jivaro has won Immunity.

Matthew immediately begins targeting idler Bob and wants to say so publically in camp. Lance calms him down: “Matthew seems to be doing a lot to prove something to the rest of the tribe.”

Matthew, publically: “All right guys, we lost. But have no fear. We can still stay as the love tribe! I know we’re going to have to vote tonight, but it’s for the better. Which person is always sleeping or eating? Bob. Which person doesn’t do anything in challenges? Bob. Which person doesn’t even feel like part of our tribe? Bob. And tomorrow night, Bob won’t be part of our tribe. Everyone, our vote tomorrow shall be for Bob. Please make sure to vote for Bob, our weakest member. Remember this.”

Snowball: “So, you’re voting for me, the Snowball?”

Matthew: “Snowball, please, you are not a snowball, you are a person…”

Snowball: “I’m not a snowball?”

Day Six:

Lexie is still cheery. She thinks at some point “people will start to digress into bickering and fighting, but not me! Throughout this game, I’m going to be a positive person, that’s a promise.” She thinks Lance follows Matthew, who is the leader.

Snowball agrees. She feels safe, and wonders if Samantha is next after Bob.

Lance: “Guess what guys and girls? Matt, ‘Leader of the Aymara Tribe,” has just formed a secret alliance with Giovanni, like I predicted. They asked me to join it… he said we will pretend to be one happy tribe, while voting people off. Seems kind of like an oligarchy to me.

As an Asian American, I have to deal with oligarchies everyday… and I don’t want to inflict the same thing I despise against the people in my tribe. I will not be manipulated, or lied to, and I will not be insulted. Matt said he liked my determination, and that we are all going to be treated equal in this alliance. I don’t care what he thinks, and he is devising everything, telling me how to vote, and trying to manipulate me. Why should I trust him?”

Lance is irked by Matt, but wants to bide his time until he can gather strength to go against Matthew. “I didn’t like the way he threw away all my ideas, and I don’t like his strategy. I better get back to camp before he labels me as a slacker like he has to Snowball.”

At TC, Bob the idler is unanimously voted off.

Episode 3:

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, John, Alexia, Lenora, Corey, Dean

Flashback to last TC: Amy and Lance are showed voting for Bob, but wishing they could vote for Matt.

After TC, the tribe is worried about the one vote Giovanni got. Snowball wonders who voted for Giovanni and vows to start a witch hunt if it wasn't a self vote. Amy thinks Lance voted Giovanni, Lance thinks it was Amy. Giovanni admits he didn't vote and thus vote for himself.

Matthew has a dream he was voted out; Lexie has a dream there was a tribe switch. Snowball agrees; they decide to stick together if there is a switch. Lexie and Snowball bond.

Matthew forms a GLAM alliance: Giovanni, Lance, Amy, Matthew. Matthew tells Lance and decides to switch Amy for Lexie, so it becomes a GLLM alliance.

Lance, angered, goes to tell Amy everything. Amy: "There was no reason for Matt to go running around, announcing that we should all vote for Bob, then pestering everyone a couple more times person to person about it! I mean, newsflash Matt, we are not just going to all lie down and accept you as our leader!"

Lance and Amy bond when he tells her about Matt's GLLM alliance. Lance doesn't want to be a part of it, not trusting Matt and not wanting to scheme so early.

Amy: "I trust Lance... but wer are not in an alliance yet. I mean, if Matt is trying to do all this sneaking around and building alliances this early in the game... I'd say that he's pretty stupid!

Of coures, I could just tell Matt that Lance doesn't want to be part of his alliance, and that Lance wants him gone. Then I could probably get into the alliance myself. But I'm not that evil.. am I?"

Snowball and Lexie bond; Matthew begins ordering people around in what to do if there's a switch. Snowball: "Matt, what do you mean: 'pretend it doesn't happen?'"

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE THREE
~Through the Tomb~

Castaways must race through an ancient Andean tomb, complete with puzzles, traps, and switches.

Jivaro fails utterly, Aymara dominates.

Day Nine-

Alexia kills a bunny; names him Corey; and skins it. Lenora: "Stop! Alexia: that's overkill!" Alexia: "Get the fire ready!"

Jivaro is angry at Corey for not participating in challenges. Dean is appaled by the bunny skinning and goes to talk to Corey; they bond. Dean, an intellectual, theorizes on how he will win the game. They decide to target Quentina, who has been flying way under the radar.

The votes are in: Quentina, Quentina, Corey, Corey, Quentina, Corey... it's 3-3.

The final vote: Corey.

Alexia, John, Lenora, Sam -> Corey
Quentina, Dean, Corey -> Quentina

Episode Four:

Snowball summarizes the game up to now. Matt- leader. Gio - follower. Jivaro wins, votes for Bob. Aymara anxious about a switch: wins Immunity. "This is where things get interesting."

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, John, Alexia, Lenora, Dean

It's a very windy day in the Andes mountains. Samantha: "It's chaos."

Tree-Mail:

Choose Three Members: The Strongest, the Most Clever, and the Most Diabolical.

Snowball: "I'm not that strong, and apparently, I'm not that clever, because I don't know what diabolical means. Am I diabolical?"

Lance: “It looks like the big switch is going on. Right now, everybody thinks Snowball is the smartest. Yeah right. Just because she talks way too much does not demonstrate intelligence in any way, shape or form. It just demonstrates somebody’s lack of self-control. Give me a break, she does not even know what diabolical means. That is kind of pathetic.”

Amy: “Well, before I get into all this ugly conspiracy stuff that’s going on, I think I’m just going to vent about Snowbal for a minute or two. I mean, she just seems so immature sometimes! And, like, I’m not really one to complain about people being stupid, but we had to explain the rules of the challenge like four or five times before she got it! If I were going to vote right now, she just might be the person I’d vote for, because she can get really annoying sometimes.”

Lance suggests Lexie, Snowball, and Samantha as the three members. Lexie, fearing a switch, desperately does not want to go: “I’m not going to risk going over there, no matter what! Uh-uh… especially not after building my swing!” Lexie substitutes Giovanni for herself. “I noticed Lance was the first one to nominate me… believe me, I won’t be forgetting that!”

Snowball: “We just got tree-mail telling us to send three of our… tribe members but we don’t know what it is. I might just be paranoid; maybe it’s just some weird type of challenge that only needs three people…”

Aymara alliances are a hot topic. Matt tells people he wants out Snowball, then changes his mind to Samantha. Amy thinks it should be Giovanni because he’s lazy, “but of course, he’s in Matt’s alliance, so he’s untouchable!”

Lance convinces Matt to swap Amy for Giovanni and vote him out. Lance: “Matt has betrayed another member of the Aymara Tribe. Is anybody out there really surprised?” Amy: “I accepted it… I still have no plans to let Matt win this game. Am I a hypocrite now? Guess I’ll have to think about that…”

Meanwhile, on Jivaro…

Alexia, Quentina, and John are chosen as the three. They get another tree-mail:

A royal battle is next in store,
The necklace is the loot,
Three by three across the floor,
Lose and you could get the boot.

Samantha: “I guess I was chosen to go on the weird trip thing… I really didn’t want to go, but I also didn’t want the rest of my tribe to think I wasn’t going to help with anything, so I said I would go if needed. I hope it’s not the switch, and if it is, I hope it’s not too bad; I don’t want to screw things over for my tribe.”

At the Immunity Challenge, Sam the host hands out new buffs to each of the three groups. “These are your new teams for the following Immunity Challenge!”

It’s a 3-3 VS. 3-3 warrior battle. No switch.

Snowball: “I still have no idea what’s happening. What is going on here? Is it a tribe-swap? The twist? I still have no idea.”

Lexie: “Well, I guess there was no switch at all! Just an Immunity Challenge…”

Samantha: “I think splitting the team was kind of useless; maybe they just did it to make us think there was going to be some sort of twist.”

They dress up in warrior costumes and take place for the battle. Alexia vows to win: “I was born to do this stuff. I get to beat the crap out of these people.”

Snowball moves forward and attacks Alexia, Alexia fights back. Samantha cures Snowball. Aymara gangs up on Alexia and takes her out.

Lance: “Amy, finish her off!”

Amy: “I wish I could Lance, but I’m stuck as the healer. I could argue about the sexist implications of making the only female member the healer, but it was probably chosen randomly so I won’t.”

Aymara slaughters Jivaro. Giovanni: “The Jivaro tribe was slaughtered like the cows they are.”

At Jivaro: they are depressed after their second straight IC loss. John hides Alexia’s knife; she digs it up. John: “Man, she found it! I was really hoping to get rid of that thing.”

Lenora is happy to be here: “Hmm, should I construct a four or five person alliance? Decisions, decisions.” Lenora thinks about recruiting Quentina and John, but fears how close they are. She says Sam is an outsider, contributing nothing and bitching to everyone.

Tribal Council looms.

Sam(host): “Quentina, what or whom do you think is to blame for this second Immunity loss?”

Alexia interrupts Quentina and blurts out: “We have more dead weight to ditch. So let’s ditch it.” Quentina just nods.

Sam(host): “Dean, what is your most amazing trait?” Dean: “The acuity of my intellignce would be the zenith of my personality.”

Jivaro votes; it’s 4-2 Dean-Lenora. Lenora votes for herself. Dean: “Well, here I am. The end of the road. I’m disappointed. Not so much in the fact that I lost, but that those other muscle heads will continue. I was sure that intelligence and planning was the way to go, but I forgot one of the most important rules in life: never underestimate stupid people in a group. Goodbye Survivor, I barely knew ye.”

Episode 5:

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, John, Alexia, Lenora

For the past 12 days, Aymara has been filled with paranoia, scheming, and alliance building. Samantha is glad she is still around.

Shoot for the center,
Aim straight and true,
Get the most points,
A feast’ll be waiting for you.

Lexie thinks Samantha is quiet, but always is willing to help out. Lexie thinks Amy is a good girl and fun, just like herself.

Snowball hopes that it will be an Aymara Final Seven.

Lexie admits to switch paranoia, and hopes it will die down. “That tree mail was evil!”

Samantha is “almost a little disappointed that it’s not the switch.” Her and Lance had a private strategy session that might have assured Aymara dominance. She has a nice talk with Snowball, but thinks Matt doesn’t want to get to know her.

Lexie: “Alliances… I’m not sure! I don’t know if I have one, I don’t know if I don’t have one. It’s hard to tell from the last tribal council. I do think there are quite a few people out there who will go before me, unless they all have a secret alliance which I don’t know about! Which is so possible… hehehehe! I’m just trying to stay on top of everything…”

Lexie propositions Amy for a two-person pact, Amy says she agrees. Lexie feels confident about it.

Amy, however, is completely surprised by this turn of events. She thinks that Lexie was in an alliance with Matthew, Lance, and Giovanni. However, Lexie was never fully informed of this alliance that she was supposedly in. Amy doesn’t know this, and is confused. Amy thinks either A) Lance has been lying the whole time or B) Lexie doesn’t want to be a part of Matt’s alliance.

Amy trusts Lance, and tells him what Lexie said. They agree to stick together and oust Matt when they can. Lance says Amy and Matt trust him, and he doesn’t know what he’s going to do. Amy doesn’t exactly what to get out Matt this very moment, because then it would set them two up as leaders. They can target and scapegoat Matt when things go wrong. Amy: “Matt, don’t you know what happens to overthrown kings and wannabe rebel leaders? They get their heads cut off and displayed on the castle wall. It’s the people who planned beneath them that end up surviving to the end. And that’s what I hope for Lance and I to do.”

Snowball isn’t sure who she wants to align with, but mentions Samantha, Gio, and Lexie.

The reward challenge is an archery contest. Alexia of Jivaro decides to shoot all of the arrows, and wins the reward for her tribe. She is excited: “I tried my darn best for these idiots.” Aymara is angry that Alexia rubs it in their face. Jivaro is served a full-course meal.

Alexia: “I guess y’all don’t want any. Eat up guys. We won something. I would’ve liked to have heard some cheering from you guys or something though. Don’t worry we are all still 5 by 5.”

Alexia(confessional): “Food good. I kicked all their butts. Girl power!”

The next day, Sam of Jivaro prepares for the IC: “It has been awhile since I’ve done anything for that matter. I’m finally ready for a challenge… and no one else is. I guess that’s what happens to Jivaro.”

At Immunity Challenge Five, the tribes have to rescue players in stretchers. Each tribe needs a Medic – Aymara chooses Lance. Lexie is rescued, Snowball, Amy, and Mathew follow. Lance is busy.

Alexia for Jivaro stands up, then sits back down after seeing that attempting the challenge would be fruitless. Aymara wins again.

Alexia, angry, immediately blames Sam for their loss. Jivaro heads back to camp.

Meanwhile, Aymara or “Aya” celebrates. Lexie and Snowball agree that Alexia is first to go.

Lexie: “I’d rather be bored, yet in the game.”

Aymara passes the time by playing cards, checkers, and chit-chat. Samantha and Snowball decide to look out for each other. Aymara is happy about their winning streak and decide to pick off “Jive” one by one.

Amy: “I guess I’ve talked about everyone in my tribe in these confessionals except one. And that’s Samantha. Samantha is sort of a wild card…. I’m starting to like her. She’s not as annoying as Snowball or as ditzy as Lexie is. But she’s not aligned with anyone, unless something changes down the road.”

Lexie: “I tell ya, chicks rule at Aymara! I love everyone. Although, Snowball can be a bit abrasive in her actions. She’s rather loud, and talks a lot… sort of like me! Except, I don’t’ think she understands that it’s my position to be funny and entertain everyone. She better watch out!”

Back on Jivaro, Lenora reveals her pact with Alexia. Quentina reveals that she has an alliance with Alexia too.

Alexia votes. John votes for Sam, then switches to Alexia. Sam votes for John. Lenora: “My vote is for your because even though you have what it takes to be a leader, you cannot be around at merge.”

It’s 4-1 John.

Alexia, Lenora, Quentina, Sam -> John
John -> Alexia

FINAL WORDS

John: “My alliance fell through. Oh well, it was a blast. I don’t regret how I played at all. Adios!”

EPISODE SIX

Aymara (white): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance
Jivaro (purple): Sam, Quentina, Alexia, Lenora

Amy: “Wow, over two weeks! I guess time flies when you’re winning immunity, huh?”

Aymara is confident that they can pick off Jivaro. But Matthew isn’t so sure. He is worried that the outcast Aymara will team up with Jivaro and gain control. So he elects himself to be the one to be the Ambassador at the upcoming Tribal Summit.

Lance also says he wants to be the ambassador, but Snowball and Samantha quickly dismiss him. Snowball: “Well I think we are only allowed one ambassador.”

Amy decides to back up Lance. The others support Matthew. Lance eventually decides to let Matthew go.

Alexia is the obvious choice for Jivaro. Her and Matthew meet in a feast, and quickly become familiar. It is revealed that they had been exchanging messages since day one, revealing who had been voted out.

Aymara begins gossiping about Matthew when he is gone. Lexie thinks he is a liar. Lexie: “Matt seems to have some really great sources on the other tribe… how does he know who Jivaro votes off after each council? I really don’t think his loyalties are with Aymara anymore, and that’s so not cool. I don’t trust him at all.”

Lexie thinks about getting support against Matthew. She tells Snowball, and Snowball agrees. They are wary of Matthew. Snowball: “Matt went to meet with Alexia to decide how we will merge. With Matt gone, it was easy for people to talk about him behind his back…. We both agreed that Matt cannot be trusted.”

Meanwhile, Lance is still under the misperception that Lexie is a “permanent minion of Matt.” Snowball doesn’t trust Lance, calling him a “lying, scheming, evil bastard.” She isn’t sure how she is gonna vote.

The next immunity challenge is a trivia quiz with eight questions. Aymara takes the lead, 2-0.

Sam: “Next question. Which of the following civilizations lived in the Andes?

A) Maya
B) Inca
C) Sumerian
D) Phoenican

Snowball: “The answer is Inca. Final answer.”
Quentina: “Answer: Sumerian.”

Snowball is correct, making it 3-0.

Sam: “Which of the following animals was first domesticated by Andean tribes?”

A) Llama
B) Horse
C) Dog
D) Lamb

Aymara doesn’t answer. Quentina: “Answer: horse.”

Sam: “Answer: wrong. It was the llama.” Aymara clinches their 4th straight immunity win.

Matthew returns to Aymara and reveals that the tribe name will be Noqayku, the Quechua word for we. Alliances start up again.

Amy: Alright, if you’re confused, the alliance is supposedly Matt, Lance, me, and Lexie.

Snowball: The new alliance consists of me, Samantha, and Lexie.

As if to answer the implied question, “Where is Giovanni in all this?” the camera pans to him. Snowball: “Giovanni – he isn’t pulling his wait. He’s very mysterious.” Lexie: “He keeps to himself a lot, you know?”

Snowball can’t wait for the merge. Snowball: “This game will be unpredictable, come the merge. Everyone thinks that Aya will just pick off Jive one by one, but even if this is the case, the fun doesn’t stop. What happens when Aya is the final 7? The love tribe must start some strategizing, and that is where nobody can predict what happens, how the love tribe will split up. Maybe because I feel that Matthew, Amy, Lexie, and Lance will team up together, perhaps I will get myself, Samantha, and Gio to team up with a Jive member and pick them up. You can’t tel the way alliances will work. I cannot wait to find out what happens next.”

On Jivaro, they prepare for TC. Quentina: “I have decided to align with certain people to turn on Alexia. We will vote her off, hopefully making our tribe smaller.”

It’s 3-1 Sam. Sam is angry.

Alexia, Lenora, Quentina -> Sam
Sam -> Lenora

Sam: “I had no fun, and I really don’t like it since that witch took over the game. I hope to see your name put up for death soon Alexia.”

(the following episode summaries were not written, and the board has been deleted. this is from memory and as such I can't reproduce confessionals.)

EPISODE 7

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance, Quentina, Alexia, Lenora

The tribes merge; and Alexia immediately starts plotting with Matt. Quentina and Lenora just follow along. Matt convincingly makes an alliance with the Jivaros along with Lance and Snowball. Alexia starts flirting with Matthew.

All of Aymara doesn't want Alexia to win Immunity, and she doesn't. At tribal council, Matthew and Aymara reveal that their alliance with Alexia was fake to get her to be quiet, and they vote her out 7-3. More repositioning takes place as Aymara gets closer to a final 7, their dream since Day 6.

Matthew, Giovanni, Lexie, Lance, Snowball, Samantha, Amy -> Alexia
Quentina, Alexia, Lenora -> Snowball

EPISODE 8

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Matthew, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance, Quentina, Lenora

Aymara continues their dominating streak. More plotting against Matthew occurs, even though he proved to be loyal by voting against Alexia. Many Aymara weren't sure that he would and were nervous.

One of the most famous moments in the series was when Aymara had to choose between twin deadbeats Quentina and Lenora. Both hardly ever tried or posted. Quentina was chosen because she was a "confessional threat" because she had a slightly higher post count in her confessional than Lenora.

Quentina was voted out 7-2.

Matthew, Giovanni, Lance, Lexie, Snowball, Amy, Samantha -> Quentina
Quentina, Lenora -> Matthew

The girls form one of the most powerful alliances in the game: The Aymara Girls Alliance. Amy, Lexie, Snowball, and Samantha bond and decide to be final four. Amy feels bad for leaving Lance out in the dark but it is what she thinks she has to do. The girls strike.

EPISODE 10

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Giovanni, Snowball, Lexie, Lance

Lexie is happy with her new Final Four alliance. She thinks they might be a little divisive, but she feels they can last it out. She is friends with Snowball and they form a closer bond.

Amy feels really bad about leaving Lance out in the dark. She contemplates switching sides, feeling he is more worthy than some of the others such as Snowball and Lexie which really annoy her. She begins plotting.

Snowball is on a high - feeling successful and ready to make the Final Four. She feels comfortable and safe. She feels if she can win a few immunities, she's a lock for final two, and is on cloud nine.

Giovanni is at a loss. He didn't have a strong start, but he was really starting to get into things near the end just to find out he was on the wrong side of a vote. He begins talking to more people and making friends, but it might be too little, too late.

Lance is shocked. He knows he has lots of contacts and friends, but he wasn't expecting this last vote. Especially since it was his main idea way back when. He retreats for a few days, thinking, then tries to start to talk to some of his friends to get back into the alliance. Perhaps he can be of use at the Final Five...

Samantha is likewise pleased with her new alliances, and has made a lot of genuine friendships. She's connected with Amy and bonded well, friends with Lexie and has a close alliance with Snowball. She's a little worried and paranoid, but is doing her best to stay on top.

Samantha wins Immunity and is safe. Amy decides to break up the Girls Alliance in order to include Lance. Will she be able to get enough votes? There are some challenge threats in this tribe - who is scared of whom?

TC is here and the votes are read:

Snowball

Giovanni

Giovanni

Snowball

It's 2-2 Snowball/Giovanni.

Snowball

Snowball.

Snowball is shocked and amazed at being betrayed. It never occured to her that she would be sixth place. She felt too secure. She goes to the jury lodge bitterly.

Amy, Lance, Giovanni, Samantha -> Snowball
Snowball, Lexie -> Giovanni

EPISODE 11

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Giovanni, Lexie, Lance

Lexie is pissed. She is surprised beyond all belief that her alliance broke up, and demands answers. She pisses off Lance in a heated, private conversation. She demands answers from Amy in a series of intense e-mails. She publically insults and accuses Samantha of treachery right in the middle of camp. She thinks she can browbeat them into understanding why their move was too stupid, but the rest of the tribe is just angry at her. A little resentment had been building against her since the merge, her happy-go-lucky attitude annoying some of the others. They were threatened by her challenge ability and her "girl next door" qualities.

Amy and Samantha got angrier and angrier with Lexie, and vowed publically in the camp forum to vote her out at the next TC.

This next Immunity Challenge was crucial for Lexie, and she was bound and determined to win it. After a close match against Samantha, she came out on top and won Immunity, guaranteeing her in the final four. She was escatic, and immediately began to try making deals, trying to get Lance and Samantha to vote out Amy.

Amy, Lance, and Samantha then decided to vote out the odd man out - Giovanni, who they were just beginning to get to know and love. The guy who had never played a Survivor - nor really heard about the show - was just getting into the swing of things as his name was about to be read at Tribal Council.

Giovanni
Amy
Giovanni
Amy
Giovanni

Giovanni was done. He was happy about his time though, and really positive about the whole experience.

Amy, Samantha, Lance -> Giovanni
Giovanni, Lexie -> Amy

EPISODE 12

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Lexie, Lance

The Final Four. Amy, who had been in the mix of Aymara alliances since the start. Samantha, who started off slow but quickly found that comfortable place in her tribe. Lance, who had been left out of the first Aymara merge vote, but quickly found his groove back in. Lexie, who had been betrayed earlier, was eager to turn things around.

She had lots and lots of potential plans, and talked to everyone constantly to try and find one that would fit. Even if they didn't, she could still take Immunity home to make it to the final three.

Samantha, Amy, and Lance were worried about Lexie winning Immunity and were determined to keep her from getting it.

At the IC, Lexie gave it a good shot, but came up short in second place.

Her time in the game was to come to an end.

Samantha, Amy, Lance -> Lexie
Lexie -> Lance

Lexie was happy with how she did and how far she came. She wasn't too fond of her tribemates but was eager to join her buddy Snowball in the jury. She left the tribe with her head held high.

EPISODE 13

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy, Lance

The Final Three. Amy and Lance had been a really close duo since Day Six, and vowed to become the Final Two. Samantha felt comfortable, neither hated nor really liked. She was competing to get herself to the final 2.

It was a multi-part final immunity challenge that took place over three days. In the end, Amy outlasted Samantha to claim Immunity and a spot in the final two.

However, Amy wasn't sure how well she would fare against Lance to the jury. Didn't he have several allies there? Plus, Amy was the one who was seen as the backstabber against people like Snowball and Lexie, who might vote for Lance instead of her since Lance was always kinder to them. Either way, it'd be close, but she wasn't sure which way she wanted to go. Even though she had promised Lance F2 many, many times throughout the game.

Samantha was worried, and thought her time was up.

Lance was cautious, but confident his friend would pull through.

At the thirteenth tribal council of the game, Amy made her decision.

It was LANCE who would be third place.

Amy -> Lance

Lance was shocked, and angry. He'd thought about it, but never seriously considered this outcome. He took his torch grimly and left his friend Amy sad, without a single goodybe.

Amy and Samantha were the Final Two of Andes.

EPISODE 14

Noqayku(grey): Samantha, Amy

The final two went through intense questioning by Snowball, Lexie, Matthew, and the others. They were surprised by the ferocity of the Jury.

It came time to vote. Lance and Lexie disliked Amy, and voted for Samantha. The earlier jurors respected Amy, who many saw as more strategic and played the game harder than Samantha - who was seen as coasting by in the beginning. Samantha had to argue her case and her strategic game plan, while Amy had to defend herself against accusations of disloyalty and lying.

It came time to vote. (unfortunately i do not remember all of the jury votes). Three months after the 39 day game had ended, the final votes were revealed.

Amy.

Amy.

Samantha.

Samantha.

2-2 Samantha/Amy.

Amy.

3-2 Amy / Samantha

Samantha.

It's tied 3-3. The last vote will determine the Sole Survivor.

The final vote of Survivor Andes is for....

SAMANTHA!!!

Samantha had become the Sole Survivor of the Andes in a 4-3 vote. She was esctatic. Amy was disappointed after losing by just one vote.

Giovanni, Quentina, Lenora -> Amy
Lance, Snowball, Lexie, Matthew -> Snowball

Hi!

Your adventure in the Andes Mountains has now begun. Head over to http://pub15.ezboard.com/bsurvivorandes (keycode: bsurvivorandes) to begin! Be sure to put this in your favorites!

It is recommended that you save this e-mail so you can keep your passwords in case you need them. If you lose them however, e-mail me or post in your confessional and I will give them to you. You should only have to type in the password once and then you can move in and out at will. Type in the passwords carefully for some are very odd.

The site does have pop-up advertisements. If they annoy you, download a free pop-up stopper. It works for me. Remember that this game is secret! Don’t give out the links, don’t talk about voting, or don’t divulge anything on the game to anyone outside of the game. I’m trusting you on this one! =)

You are on the Aymara Tribe.
Your password for entry into the Aymara Campsite is: cat659fud22

Your character name is:
Your confessional password is:

=)

*the whoosh, whoosh, whoosh of the military helicopter blades echos in the background as your host, Sam, yells out the following into a microphone*

Welcome to the campsite, located high above sea level in the Andes Mountains! This is a location where you will be spending the majority of your time as a tribe together over the next two and a half weeks. To keep things organized, each third day I will post a forum for you to post about your daily activities. Gather some wood, make a fire, build a shelter, prepare some food. Most importantly, discuss things with your tribemates. Make banter, exchange personal favorites, talk about what you like to do and what you don’t. If you have any difficultly logging in, have a question about procedure or the rules, you can contact me in your confessional.

the plane swoops down, getting closer to the mountains

Here’s a brief layout of the rules. Make sure to visit once everyday. The game proceeds in three day cycles. On the first day you prepare for the challenge and chat with your tribemates in this forum. Be sure to post a confessional describing life and talking about all the different people in your tribe, if you like them, if you have an agreement with them. Talk about voting. On the second day you will have a challenge. The results should be announced that night, so the challenge only takes one day. Sometimes the challenge might span two days and begin on the first day. Immediately after the challenge ends I open up Tribal Council. Think about your votes. The votes are due on that third day AT 11:00 PM Central Standard Time sharp. GET THEM IN. If you don’t vote you vote for yourself. I really want everybody to vote, so this is important. The cycle begins again the next day. Don’t visit the other tribes topic or other people’s confessionals!

Most of all, have fun! Having played one of these before, it can be an amazing experience. Talking with each other and getting to know each other privately through AIM or e-mail is a most excellent so be sure to post them.

I’ll see you tomorrow at dawn for your first challenge as a tribe!

Hey

This is your confessional, do whatever you like with it! Be sure to post around once everyday, though usually you can use it as a resource to explain as things happen, or complain about annoying or lazy teammates. I suggest setting up one topic for each episode and labeling each day. Also have a topic for your tribal council votes… this is where you post them! Be sure to provide reasoning with the votes.

This is also where you can contact me if you wish. Once in a blue moon I might ask a specific question or bring up a specific issue for you to respond in here, but mostly it’s all you.

Remember this is totally and absolutely private, so speak your mind! Start off about how you feel about this adventure, what you think it is going to be like, how far you think you will get, etc. =)

Samantha, is your computer still broken? If so, I suggest that you sit out. If not, who should we pick?

My computer's not broken anymore, but I don't think I'm very strong, clever, or that other word that begins with "d". I agree with Lexie on the two. I also think that Matthew is a good player and might be a good choice. But this could be the twist in the game, so I have no idea what we should do. How many people are left on each tribe?

Wow, this is a really tough choice!

I don't know for sure what is going to happen, but if Lexie, Samantha, and Snowball want to be the three volunteers, that's fine by me!

If you three don't want to go, I guess we should just leave it up to chance.

Well, obviously no one can force Lexie if she doesn't want to, and since Giovanni isn't here to say anything, the three chosen people are: Snowball, Samantha, and Giovanni.

Secondly, there was no one selected to sit out. (Snowball said if Samantha's computer was broken then her but Samantha said her computer was not broken so no one has decided. Which means it is chosen randomly.)

I asked someone with nothing to do with gamefaqs to pick a number one through four. I set you up in alphabetical order. 1= Amy 2=Lance 3=Lexie 4=Matthew.

The number: 3.
Lexie sits out.

DAY TEN: After choosing three people, nothing happens.

DAY ELEVEN: The survivors wake up for an early tree-mail...

Well, glad there is no swap. I wonder what the twist is, then. The twist is that there is no twist? Lame. But whatever.

Jivaro only has five players. This means that all we need to do is win 1 more Immunity Challenge, and we can easily just pick them off come the merge. It'd be funny if Aya were all in the final 7. But at this point, it may happen! We clearly post more than they do (see there base camp. Only 50 odd posts. We have 150. Also in challenges we post more then they do). We are clearly stronger. Go Aya!

I just wanna add that the following players on Jive were mentioned in yesterday's Immunity Challenge:

Lenora
Sam
Dean
Alexia
Quentina
John

One of these players was voted out last night.
Now, I remember that some one said that April seemed like the first one to go. I guess that means that the person who was voted out second in Jive was Corey. I wish I knew more of what is going on in that tribe. It would REALLY help if we knew who voted for who, or even how many votes did each person get. Too bad. Too bad.

I have to admit, Survivor is much harder than I thought it would be. Confusing challenges, misunderstandings, strategizing behind my back, it's all there.

I suddenly feel vulnerable. When you said that the tribe needed to pick three people who fit three characteristics, we all thought that it was the people who will switch tribes. Unfortunately, I was unanimously picked. It makes me think that people don't fully consider me as part of our tribe alliance. The other two people were Gio and Samantha, who don't help out a lot. So, if I was put in the same group as those two, it means something. I feel that now more than ever, we need to win Immunity.

We are close. One of Jivaro is already defeated. One more is close. Everyone on Aya is at full strength. But we've seen Jivaro come back before, and we can't get too cocky.

This game is really hard. But I could still win. Just watch.

Re: Hey Snowball!

I'm so annoyed how we know nothing about the other tribe. How many voted did each person get, who voted for who, why, and the bond between each player. I know most people on our tribe have a good bond with each other, and when we post, we talk about life in the Andes, what we miss, we celebrate, etc... For all I know, whenever Jive posts, it's to continue an argument, to discuss strategy, to annoy each other. I can't wait for the merge so that I can ask these questions to the Jive players, what they posted before. The suspense is killing me to find out what will happen.

This game will be unpredictable, come the merge. Everyone thinks that Aya will just pick off Jive one by one, but even if this is the case, the fun don't stop. What happens when Aya is the final 7, or the final 6. The love tribe must start some strategizing, and that is where nobody can predict what happens, how the love tribe will split up. Maybe because I feel that Matthew, Amy, Lexie, and Lance will team up together, perhaps I will get myself, Samantha, and Gio to team up with a Jive member and pick them off. Everything can be left to the last minute, and you can't tell the way alliances will work.

Aya's winning streak continues, and Jive heads to Tribal Council yet again. We are reassured that there will not be a tribe swap. The mood is good at camp. But can it last? I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

We just got the treemail telling us to send three of our strongest, cleverist (Is that a word?) and most diabolical tribe members but we don't know what it is. I'm kind of nervous that it might be the switch, cause I really like the tribe I'm on. The other tribe doesn't seem to do a lot and I wouldn't want to be stuck with a bunch of lazy asses (Can I swear?) I might just be paranoid; maybe it's just some wierd type of challenge that only needs three people... Or maybe we're merging early! That would be an unexpected twist in the game......

I guess I was chosen to go on the weird trip thing...*makes frustrated face*...I really didn't want to go, but I also didn't want the rest of my tribe to think I wasn't going to help with anything, so I said I would go if needed. I hope it's not the switch, and if it's not I hope it's not too bad; I don't want to screw things over for my tribe...We'll just have to see what happens...

Okay, so I found out what that whole thing is and it's not the switch!! Yay! I think our tribe will do good in this challenge. Only one person in the other tribe has actually said anything so far. I'm almost a little dissapointed that it's not the switch. Me and Lance had a private convo yesturday, and he came up with a really good strategy that would almost guarentee our tribe majority for the merge. I'm not going to say it yet, cause I don't really know a good way to say it. But when I can put it into understandable words I will.

Well, I talked privately to a few other members of the tribe, Snowball was very nice and had a lot to say to me, but when I talked to Matt he didn't seem very interested in talking to me. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid, but I don't think he really wants to get to know me.

Another thing I found out was that everyone is talking alliance. That may not be true, but according to Lance everyone but me has and he said it's pretty ugly. I don't know if he's just telling me this so that I'll try and alline myself with him or if he's just informing me on what's happening outside the board. I don't know but I think he's telling the truth...Sometimes I am too trusting...

"Yo. Peace and love to all my brothers and sisters back home. It looks like the big switch is going on. Seems as if some preconceived notions have started to formulate in the Aymara Tribe. Right now, everybody thinks Snowball is the smartest. Yeah right. Just because she talks way too much, does not demonstrate intelligence in any way, shape, or form. It just demonstrates somebodies lack of self control. Give me a break, she does not even know what diabolical means. That is kind of pathetic. I have now decided to side with Amy and Matt. Those are the two people I have pledged an alliance to. Right now, I just want Snowball, Lexie, and Samantha to leave. I am staying under the radar, which is a good thing. Later."

"But, of course, I'm still mainly looking out for lil ole me! So, I'm trying to make sure I don't go on the mission. As long as I don't go, I'll stay in Aymara where we will have a four person block...no tie in a vote. I'm not going to risk going over there, no matter what! OK, *now* I've got the right day!

Sigh... , I really don't feel much like saying anything right now, since we're all so worried about what's going to happen tomorrow. But there's big news that I just have to tell you!

Lance has told me that Matt wants *me* in the alliance instead of Giovanni. And wow, doesn't that just change everything! So, well, I accepted it. I'll go into a lot more detail tomorrow, but I just know that this is the best way for me and Lance to go far. Because no matter how annoying Matt and Lexie can get, this is probably the best way for us to last. And I still have no plans to let Matt win this game.

Am I a hypocrite now? Humph, Guess I'll have to think about that...

I'll talk tomorrow.

Well, it looks like we've won immunity again! Heh, at this rate, we won't need to worry that much about our alliances for a while!

First things first. It looks like we aren't switching tribes. And that is a GOOD thing, believe me. If we can just get to the merge with a majority of people, we should be set. And I say 'should' because I am not ever going to make any guarantees out here.

OK, so why did I tell Lance I'd join him in Matt's alliance? Well, it's the safest way. For me and Lance both. I mean, if we teamed up and took out Matt, then we'd set ourselves up as the leaders. And what did I tell you about what I felt about being the leader? Let Matt *think* that he's in charge. There's still no way he's winning this over Lance and I. And if something should happen and the alliance goes kaput, who get's it all dumped on him? Our "leader", Matt.

Matt, don't you know what happens to overthrown kings and wannabe rebel leaders? The get their heads cut off and displayed on the castle wall (sorry, I'm felling kinda ruthless tonight!) It's the people who planned beneath them the end up surviving to the end. And that's what I hope for Lance and I to do.

Besides, I guess there's no way to avoid being in an alliance in this game. But my loyalties lie only with me and Lance. We've become really good friends, and I hope we can both get as far as we possibly can together.

The big question is if I am certain that Matt isn't jerking me around. Does he really want Giovanni out? I guess we'll have to wait until whenever we go back to tribal council.

Again, if I were just voting on my own, I'd vote for Snowball in a second. I mean, Matt may be annoying, but at least he has some semblance of strategy and intelligence. Snowball just, well, quite frankly she's pretty dumb. But if Gio's getting tossed out of the alliance, would he go before her?

What I think I finally need to do is talk to Matt. Face-to-face, to make sure that we're on the same ground. Well, not *exactly* the same ground, I don't ever think that'll happen, but pretty much the same ground. I hope I'll be able to do that tomorrow, just after I have a chat with Lance first.

I guess I've talked about everyone in my tribe in these confessionals except one. And that's Samantha. Samantha;s sorta the wild card. I think she's still afraid because she wasn't contributing at the beginning, but she's been working really hard since then. I haven't gotten to know her to well personally, but I think I am starting to like her. She's not as annoying as Snowball or as ditzy as Lexie is. But she's not aligned with anyone, unless something changes down the road.

And you know what? I've got a feeling something *is* going to change down the road. I'm out.

DAY SIXTEEN

Lenora [TaurusP78]: I didn't sleep so well last night. I kept hearing all these damn chinchillas! I wish they weren't nocturnal. You can hear them scurrying around late at night. I saw one of em too. They look like big rats! I only wish I could kill em, but I don't know if we should, as they are endangered, though I wonder how they taste...

The sun rises as the Aymara tribe prepares breakfast.

Amy: “Wow, over two weeks. I guess time flies when you're winning immunity, huh? Yeah, I say we hold a celebration of constantly kicking the other tribe's butt! Let's have a mini-feast!”

Amy: There hasn't been much going on. I guess constantly winning immunity will do that to you. We don't have to worry about voting for anyone, so we all get to take it easy!

So now we've got 7 members and they only have 4. Heh, even if we lose here, we'll still have the majority at the merge. And if we do have the majority, I'm sure our tribe will be able to pick them all off. I just hope no one jumps to the other side. If we stay united, we can make it to the end.

Lexie: "Yay! Go us! And soon we'll have won our last tribal challenge. It's been fun so far, everything has been really relaxed. I love it here."

Samantha: “Nice work everyone. It's been a lot of fun whipping the other tribe with you all. Let's keep up the good work everyone.”

*Snowball brings back a tree-mail*

The times have been great,
The rivalries intense,
But it is time to discover,
What's on the other side of the fence.

A meeting prepared,
Lots of information to collect,
Making important decisions,
An ambassador you must select.

Lexie: "Hmm... it seems we have to choose an ambassador for the Tribal Summit meeting that will take place tonight."

Samantha: “The merge!!! So who wants to be Aymara's ambassador?”

Matthew: “Well, guys, I think it would be an honor to go to Tribal Summit. Could I, please?”

Matthew: The worst thing that could happen was to see our alliance be picked off one by one after the merge if the other Aymara tell Jivaro and team up. In fact, that was the dream I had last night, that I got voted off because of that. So I've come up with a plan. If in the Andes, one person from each tribe will meet up at Tribal Summit, I will make myself get picked. Then, I will form an "alliance" with the Jivaro member there. Except this "alliance" is just for getting me an extra vote at each Tribal Council. I don't know how it will plan out, but that's what I plan to do. Even if I don't get picked for Tribal Summit, or there isn't one, I'm still going to try to do that. I have to win.

Samantha: “That's fine by me if you want to go. Does anyone else have any problems with that?”

Lance: "I would also like to go to the Tribal Summit. Does anybody else want to?"

Snowball and Samantha quickly dismiss Lance’s claim and turn over to Matt.

Snowball: “Well I think we are only allowed one ambassador. If that is the case, Matt did ask first, so... hey Matt? If you get some pizza, wanna smuggle some back for me?”

Samantha: “If you get some try and smuggle some back. And remember, don't name the new tribe something silly. Give it a good name.”

Amy steps in to speak up for Lance.

Amy: “Well, if both Matt and Lance want to go, maybe we could just flip a coin or something to decide? Wait, we're stranded in the mountains. Does anyone even have a coin?”

Samantha: “Well, Matt did say he wanted to go first, but I really don't know. However the tribe wants to decide is fine by me.”

Snowball grabs a branch from a tree and pulls it off. She cuts the branch into a circle-like shape and carves a head on one side, and a maple leaf on the other.

Snowball: “In Canada, this would be a penny. Will it do?”

Lance: "It is OK. Matt can go ahead onward, as long as he brings me back the biggest slice of pizza. Joking, joking. Well, I got to go and gather some firewood, the fire is diminishing. Later."

Lance walks off.

Snowball: “Oh, no penny toss. Today.”

Matthew gathers a few provisions and puts them in his knapsack. He says goodbye to his tribemates and begins the hike using the map they found in the treemail.

Meanwhile, at the Jivaro campsite, four Survivors pour over the same treemail.

Quentina: “So… we choose an ambassador.”

Alexia hurriedly grabs the map.

*throws knife into ground then hastily decides to pick it back up*

Alexia: “Negotiation’s my gift.”
She marches away.

The camera follows Alexia’s path up the side of the mountain and she makes her way to Tribal Summit. She turns a corner and finds the beginnings of a river in her path. A small trickle makes its way through a few stones. She looks down the mountain and sees a roaring river cascading over a cliff to create a waterfall. Alexia grabs a mound of dirt and buries the river source. She laughs, and skips along to the summit.

Matthew arrives at the location, an ancient cave-dwelling the Andean tribes used. It is a grand meeting place, a large, open, hall carved within the rock. Sunlight only reaches so far as to a rug on the ground, behind it is open blackness. Alexia walks in.

Sam: “Welcome, Matthew and Alexia, to the Survivor Andes Tribal Summit. First, let me bring you some soft drinks and some appetizers to refresh your body.”

*snaps*

*two tribespersons bring in some mozzarella sticks, a bloomin’ onion, and some nachos*

Sam: “You have several decisions to make this night and tomorrow morning. First, the color of the tribe’s flag. You must also choose a name, but it must be suitable. You must also make a flag and determine the location of your camp. Have a good time!”

The two Survivors begin eating and chatting about the game. Alexia turns the talk to alliances, and asks Matthew if he has any. Matthew smiles.

They really get to know each other well, but already they seem pretty familiar with each other.

*the screen flashes back to Episode Two, at the statue reward challenge. Matthew and Alexia are off to the side, secretly talking*

Matthew: “Who got the boot last night?”

Alexia: “April.”

*the screen flashes again back to Aymara camp on Day Six*

Snowball: “I wonder who got the boot on Jivaro the last tribal council?”

Matthew: “April did.”

The tribe stares at Matthew in confusion.

*the flashback continues, with Matthew and Alexia talking in Episode Four, at the immunity challenge*

Alexia: “Corey.”

Once more, Alexia whispers to Matthew during the archery challenge in Episode Five.

Alexia: “Dean.”

The screen regains full color.

Alexia: “And we voted out John last night.”

Matthew just nods.

Meanwhile, back at the Aymara camp…

Lexie walks along the mountain, singing out loud as she goes about the daily chores of the camp. Snowball follows behind.

Lexie: Huh... well, over the past few days I have definitely changed my opinions about someone over here! I think someone has been lying to everyone, and in my opinion, they are a liar and a cheat! Matt seems to have some really great sources on the other tribe...how does he know who Jivaro votes off after each council? I really don't think his loyalties are with Aymara anymore, and that's so not cool. I don't trust him at all. I'm worried that he's totally playing us over here, but I'm too scared to tell anyone what I think. They might think I'm just trying to start something! I don't know what to do. I'm not going to just lay around and wait to be betrayed, that's for sure. I'll try to talk to Amy maybe. Samantha too. I don't know, but I'm sure going to try and work it! If we are merging, I'm going to do my best to win immunity right off the bat. Just so I can be sure about everyone's motives.

Lexie: "Do you think we are really going to merge this early? Oh well, I don't mind; there's seven of us and four of them!"

Lexie stops singing abruptly.

Snowball: “What is it?”

Lexie: There's now no doubt in my mind that Matthew is turning on Aymara. I still haven't said anything to anyone else, because I'm still just really nervous. But one thing is for sure... I didn't come here to get stabbed in the back and tossed aside. Uh-uh. I may look cute and sweet, but, in the end, I'm here to win. I asked Matt about the summit but he hasn't answered yet. We'll see what he says! I still hope we win immunity, but if we didn't, my vote could very well go to Matt. He's playing both sides, and that is soooo not cool!"

Lexie decides to tell Snowball what’s on her mind.

Lexie: “First off, you seem totally trustworthy and really nice, so I feel like I can trust you here. You see, there's one thing which I've been wondering from that game. How does Matt always know who gets kicked off Jivaro? Do you think he has a secret alliance with someone over there? I mean, I really hope it's not, but it seems possible. He was also the first to volunteer for the Tribal Summit. Anywho, I just wanted to see what you think, so don't tell anyone!”

Snowball: “I thought of the same thing myself, but I didn't wanna bring it up. I guess he does have a secret alliance there, which sucks. But we can't get rid of him so soon. We will boot Alexia, and see how the votes went to see if Matt voted with us or not. I just realized now that I always ask him, "Are there any alliances going on in our tribe?" I always say "in our tribe." So when he says no, he very much could be telling the truth! Lexie, I suggest we stick together.”

Snowball: Matt went to meet with Alexia to decide on how we will merge. With Matt gone, it was easy for people to talk about him behind his back. Lexie pulled me over and brought up an interesting question: "How does Matt always know who the other tribe voted off? Is he in an alliance with some one from the other tribe?" I didn't know what to answer. We both agreed that Matt cannot be trusted. It would have been easy for him to make a secret alliance with Alexia when he encountered her at Tribal Summit. Lexie and I formed an alliance along with Samantha, and we agreed to get rid of Matt after we pick off Jive.

The scene returns to the Aymara camp, where Amy has gone off to check for tree mail. Lance pokes a stick at the fire.

Lance: It seems that Snowball has some kind of strategy, but I am not sure what it is right now. I think that it is quite obvious that everybody is playing the game their own unique style. Lexie is now a permanent minion of Matt. She is playing the role of "The Girl Next Door." Amy told me that she has seen many people behave the same way Lexie is to get what they want. I completely agree with her on that point.

Snowball walks back to camp and sees Lance sitting there at the fire and smirks.

Snowball: As I get to know everyone a bit more, I learn different things about them. And most of the players are nothing like they were in the beginning. When you feel more comfortable with the people you're around, your true attitude gets out. For example, Samantha is helping a lot at camp and at challenges, and Amy is doing less and less. Lance who was very quiet, is now a lying, scheming, evil guy. But I can't tell you now who I will vote for Tribal Council, because Aya is never going to one. And with time, attitudes change even more. So if I tell you now, it's a 87% chance that I'm not even going to vote for that person.

Snowball goes and sits down by Samantha in the sun. Snowball relays everything Lexie said to her about Matthew. Samantha is seen nodding.

Samantha: I've decided to trust Snowball, and I guess we have a kind of agreement that after the merge happens and we pick off all the Jivaro members, we'll join each other and try to figure out if it's Lance or Matt that's lying. We don't want to start making alliances until after the merge.

Amy returns with some tree mail in hand.

Amy: "Wow, looks like there's going to be one last tribal immunity challenge before we merge after all! Let's pull together and win it again!"

The previous challenges,
Have strength been relied,
This morning's immunity,
In wisdom will reside.

Amy: "Uh, I've got no idea whatsoever. Guess we'll find out when we get there."

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE SIX
~Testing the Mind~

*the two tribes, one noticeably smaller, walk up to Tribal Summit where their next challenge is to be held*

Sam: "I'll take back the immunity idol for now. Matthew, Alexia, you may rejoin your tribes."

Sam: "Today's challenge will be a mental test. You must work together to answer the following questions. You will be given a list of the questions beforehand. When you are ready to answer a question, write it on the chalk board there and wait for my signal to reveal. There are eight questions. Each person on Jivaro may answer two questions, but only one person on Aymara can, because of the numbers. The questions are about Andean history."

Sam: “Here are the questions. Brainstorm over your answers and decide who will answer which questions now.”

Samantha: “So what questions do you all want to answer?”

Matthew: “That's easy! I know number four and number eight.”

Samantha: “Well since you already know the answers you can do those. I think I found number one, so I guess I'll do that one.”

Amy: “Ok guys, I'll take question 7!”

Snowball: “I'll do number 5. We still need volunteers for 2, 3, and 6.”

Meanwhile, on the Jivaro side of the bench…

Quentina: “C'mon guys, I'll do #5 and #6! Let's get in shape, Jivaro!”

The rest of the Jivaro tribe stares at her, obviously not comprehending the written language on the paper. Even Alexia stares dumbfounded.

Sam: “It’s time to reveal your answers… first question.”

Sam: “What is the highest mountain in the Andes?”

Samantha: “The highest mountain in Andes is Cerro Aconcagua.”

Sam: “Jivaro? No answer? That’s correct. Samantha, for one point for Aymara.”

Sam: “What is the word for high plateau country in the central Andes near Bolivia and Peru?”

Both tribes stare at the ground, kicking the sand.

Sam: “No one answered that one.”

AYMARA: 1
JIVARO: 0

Sam: “Number three. What is the highest altitude lake in the world?

Lexie: “Lake Titiaca.”

Sam: “That’s correct, another point for Aymara.”

Sam: “Sooner shall these mountains crumble into dust than Argentines and Chileans break the peace sworn at the feet of Christ the Redeemer.” This is a quotation from what famous Andean statue?”

Sam: “No one? The correct answer is Christ the Statue. Next question. Which of the following civilizations lived in the Andes?”

A) Maya
B) Inca
C) Sumerian
D) Phoenician

Snowball: “The answer is Inca. Final answer. “

Quentina: “Answer: Sumerian.”

Sam: Quentina, you are incorrect. The Sumerians did not live in either the same place nor the same time period as the Incas, which did live in the Andes. Congratulations, Snowball.”

AYMARA: 3
JIVARO: 0

Sam: “Which one of the following animals was first domesticated by Andean tribes?”
A) Llama
B) Horse
C) Dog
D) Lamb

Quentina: “Answer: horse.”

Sam: “Answer: wrong. It was the llama. Seventh question. With that, the Aymara tribe has clinched victory. But let’s go on nevertheless.”

7) Today, approximately how many people speak the Aymara language?
A) 100,000
B) 530,000
C) 1,600,000
D) 3,450,000

Amy: “The correct answer is 1,600,000!”

Sam: “Exactly right. Final question.”

Sam: “Fill in the blank. Although there were many headhunting cultures throughout the world, only one group was known for ancient practice of shrinking human heads (tsantsa). They were called the _____ clan who lived deep in the Ecuadorian, and neighboring Peruvian Amazon. The _____ are one of the most primitive societies that have caught the attention of the Western world because of their unusual customs.”

Sam: “Nobody? The answer is Jivaro.”

*Sam smiles*

Sam: "Aymara, it's yours! Jivaro, your fourth straight tribal council, the most in any possible Survivor I've ever heard of, is coming up for you. Here is your idol back, Aymara.”

*hands the idol back to the Aymara tribe *

The immunity idol is taken back to the Aymara camp, where it is set upon an overhanging branch on a tree. The tribe comes together to talk to Matthew for the first time about his experiences at Tribal Summit.

Lexie: “So, did you find anything out at that Tribal Summit Matt? Did anything interesting happen? I hope we didn't miss out on much...but I wouldn't want to have to spend time with that obnoxious Alexia anyways."

Snowball: “Ah, so true. She was probably showing off the whole time: "You know, I do everything for my tribe!" "I win all the challenges for them." "I won, and you didn't. Ha!" "I do this." "I do that." Sheesh! They win one challenge, and she starts a parade.”

Snowball: “Anyway, what did go on there? What was that all about?”

Snowball leans in closer to Matthew, raises an eyebrow and whispers: “Is anything evil happening?”

Matthew takes a step back.

Matthew: “Hey guys! Many things happened at Tribal Summit. Our new color is grey, and I think our new name will be Noqayku, the Quechua word for we, if it is approved. Anyway, we have to get rid of Alexia first. After that, we'll pick of the Jivaros one-by-one!”

The Aymara tribe prepares for nightfall by cooking dinner and gathering some firewood.

DAY EIGHTEEN

Amy awakes early and goes to tend the fire. Some members of her tribe join them.

Amy: “We should be merging real soon guys! Probably either tomorrow or the next day!
I don't think we have anything to worry about, as long as we stick together as a tribe.”

Matthew: “And as long as we destroy the root of the Jivaro Headhunters, Alexia, we have the game in the bag.”

Samantha: “I'm glad the merge is coming. It's very boring just doing nothing everyday. Even the challenges aren't fun cause there's no competition. It'll get interesting once it's just Aymara left.”

The screen switches to Amy.

Amy: Alright if you’re confused, the alliance is supposedly Matt, Lance, me, and Lexie.

Snowball is sitting on a steep slope kicking at rocks.

Snowball: The new alliance we formed consists of me, Samantha, and Lexie.

As if to answer the implied question, “Where is Giovanni in all of this?” the camera shows him in the middle of an unrecognizable forest with his hat covering his face. All around him his tribe is doing the daily chores but he doesn’t seem to mind. He just rolls over to get in a more comfortable position.

Snowball: Giovanni—I don't think this guy is pulling his weight. He helps a bit in challenges, but he doesn't talk much back in our camp, and he's very mysterious.

Lexie: Giovanni is someone else who doesn't do much around camp. He keeps to himself alot, ya know?

All of a sudden, a large crashing noise is heard outside the camp. Giovanni comes bumbling in, dirt coating his skin and sticklers all over his clothing.

Giovanni: “Uhh... I got lost again, so I couldn't get to the last one or two immunity challenges. I really need a compass...”

Snowball: I'm so annoyed how we know nothing about the other tribe. How many votes did each person get, who voted for who, why, and the bond between each player. I know most people on our tribe have a good bond with each other, we talk about life in the Andes, what we miss, we celebrate, etc. For all I know, whenever Jive talks, it's to continue an argument, to discuss strategy, to annoy each other. I can't wait for the merge so that I can ask these questions to the Jive players. The suspense is killing me to find out what will happen.

This game will be unpredictable, come the merge. Everyone thinks that Aya will just pick off Jive one by one, but even if this is the case, the fun doesn’t stop. What happens when Aya is the final seven?

JIVARO

The Jivaro tribe, starving and desperate, sit around the campfire all day, not saying much.

Alexia: Matthew’s whole tribal name thing annoys me. He so wants this Noqayue or something. It’s lame. I wanted something different.

Quentina: Well, I had some time to think about what's been going on while I was at Tribal Summit, and I have decided to align with a few certain people not at this Tribal Council, but the next one after that to turn on Alexia. We will vote her off, hopefully making our tribe stronger. Hopefully, this will make it easier for my newfound alliance and I to strike against Aymara when the merge comes around.

Lenora rallies the tribe to get up and make the painful hike to Tribal Council. The four-member Jivaro tribe is about to become three.

*four times the gong is hit as four survivors enter tribal council*

Sam: "You know the drill. No questions tonight. The vote from four to three will be tough. It’s time to vote. Lenora, you’re first.”

Lenora gets up and walks to the voting booth. She begins to write a name… the camera tilts away and the name is not seen.

Sam is next. He marches up to write down a name. It is shown Sam writing L, E…
Lenora.

Sam: “That’s just the way it is.”

Quentina walks up to vote, pauses for a moment, and writes down a name.

Alexia is the last to vote.

Alexia: “I vote for Sam. Who gets the last laugh now?”

Sam: “The four votes are in. I’ll tally them now.”

*Sam walks to the voting booth to pick up the bucket with the votes. Without saying a word, he opens the bucket and pulls out the first vote*

Sam.

Lenora.

Sam: “That’s one vote for Sam and one for Lenora. Third vote…”

SAM.

Sam: “One more for Sam clinches it, but one more for Lenora brings us into our first tie. The final vote…”

Sam.

Sam: “That’s final, Sam, I’ll need your torch.”

Sam stomps up to the host, obviously angry at the turn of events. He slams his torch down.

Sam: “The tribe has spoken.”

Sam quickly turns and exits the Tribal Council area.

Sam[host]: “Three Jivaro remain. Good luck to all of you in the days to come.”

*three times the gong is hit as three Survivors exit Tribal Council*

FINAL WORDS

Sam: "I had no fun, and I really don't like it since that witch took over the game. I hope to see your name put up for death soon Alexia."

Alexia -> Sam
Lenora -> Sam
Quentina -> Sam
Sam -> Lenora

NEXT TIME… ON SURVIVOR: ANDES

- How will the three remaining Jivaro fend for survival?
- Alexia and Matthew begin living together, and more than just strategies spark.
- One castaway is famished to the point of near death.
- A seventh Survivor is voted off of the mountain.
